Internal and external users

The internal users are registered users who have been assigned internal user licenses, either at registration, or later. Such users may access CIFKM by means of a client program with all the functionalities. They may also access by means of a Browser, but only for consultation purposes or to download files.

The external users are registered users who have been assigned external user licenses (that are free). Such users may only access CIFKM by means of a Browser and only for consultation purposes and to download files.

Despite the differences, the administrators manage the external and internal users in the same way, for example, both the external and internal users may be members of the user groups.

What do they solve?

The customers and providers may be registered as external users. Thus, the company may offer each one of them private repositories of their documentation – reports, contracts, etc – with a view to reinforcing ties.
