Introduction

(go to beginning)

The CIFKM administrator may configure different types of function menus to assign them to different users, and these will be displayed in the floating icon, menu; the same menu or a smaller one will be displayed in the upper bar of the CIFKM desktop.

To each user, in the floating icon, is shown the type of menu he has been assigned by the CIFKM administrator. If the user is not included in any specific menu tab, then, he will be shown by default the menu configuration that was marked as default.

In the CIFKM desktop the user will be shown the type of menu that has been associated to the type of desktop assigned to the user. Therefore, this menu may be different from the floating icon menu (normally smaller). Even though several users have assigned the same type of menu, the options visible to both may be different if they have distinct roles and they don´t have access to the same options. These privileges are defined in the Administration of roles.
