() What are the CIFKM smartbox?
() Templates available to each user
The templates allow one to create smartbox of a certain type for a specific purpose that is in accordance with the configuration of the template. For example those related to a matter, contact, work etc.
The templates may be configured and edited in the template window. The template contains the design of the form of the smartbox with its attributes and sections shown in a “pallete” of the template, as well as all those components that are necessary for the creation of a specific type of smartbox. They may also include intelligence with scripting code to establish behaviours of the smartbox with a view to adapting and evolving according to the needs at each time.
The system of configuration of templates and the versatility of their possible configurations is one of the distinguishing points of CIFKM versus other applications for similar purposes.
In the templates are included:
- Information on the access permissions (groups).
- Attributes (fields) that will define the content of an element (definition, qualification and classification).
- Predetermined files or models
- Links to other existing elements
- Notifications and notices
- Forms: visual configuration of the element, boxes of data, tabs, lists…
- Dynamic behaviour: scripts of programs that allow one to modify the behaviour of the element
Note: The system only allows one to eliminate templates that have not been used to create smartbox. If one would like to eliminate a template that has already been used, all the smartbox created with it must first be eliminated.
Window of template administration
The CIFKM administrators may access the administration of templates from the option Administration/Administration of templates of the floating icon.. The window of administration of templates shows a list of templates that the user may administrate. “Clicking” over one of the templates one edits the corresponding template window that allows one to modify its configuration. “Clicking” on the button “New” one edits a form to configure a new element template.
One may also replicate a template so that, changing its name, it will serve as a base to configure a new template.
